Vocations Corner

No bucket? Deep well? The gifts of the living water of the spirit are yours! Jesus is the living water. Drink from that deep well; hear the good news of salvation. (John 4:5-42)

Boy in Church by Jerry Spaeder

Mary, O Blessed One of the Most High, your servants turn to you on their pilgrimage to your Son and in their task of proclaiming Him to the world.

By the example of your fiat they have learned to receive the Word of God and to be attentive to the promptings of the Spirit. From your share in the redemptive mission of your Son they have learned to understand and lessen human suffering.

I pray that, through your intercession, the young people of today may answer the call to religious life as a Servant of Mary and a life of service that has so inspired them throughout the centuries.

May they choose to live a life rooted in baptismal consecration, expressed in religious profession, and voluntarily undertaken to fulfill the commandment of love.

I present this petition to you in the name of Jesus Christ, your Son, Amen.
