Vocations Corner

Peter received his special call when he acknowledged Jesus as Messiah. We who believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior also receive a special call. Ask the Lord to direct your heart. (Matthew 16:13-20)

Boy in Church by Jerry Spaeder

Loving and generous God, we need more vocations to the priesthood. Send us faith-filled servants to minister as dedicated and loving priests in the Diocese of Orange and Servite Order. Inspire us with your Holy Spirit so that we will encourage and foster a culture of vocations in which many will hear your call to serve your people. Bless our Diocese with men and women who will work together with your priests as deacons,, religious, and lay ministers to bring to life the Gospel and to realize the Church’s mission in our Diocese. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Sunday Contributions

The Benefits of Online Giving

In the past, many parishioners have asked if we could accept credit cards. You now can do just that, as we offer the option of enrolling in an automatic contribution program hosted by ParishPay Corp. In a few minutes you can be completely enrolled.

Your monthly Offertory and special collection contributions will be automatically charged on the 5th of each month. You may use your checking, savings, or brokerage account, as well as your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or Debit card. Your Easter and Christmas contributions can also be designated. Easter donations will be charged in March or April (in whichever month Easter falls) and Christmas will be charged in December. Enrollment for other special donations currently covered by the special collection envelopes such as St. Vincent de Paul, Missionary Funds, and others can also be made. Furthermore, this plan offers donors the flexibility of editing or adjusting their contributions online using their user ID and password. Changes must be made prior to the 3rd of each month in order to take effect on the 5th.

As a parish we have embraced the challenge of stewardship. We understand that it is an invitation to share intimately in the mission and ministry of Jesus and the Church. Our acceptance of this invitation leads us through a process of growing deeper in our faith and in understanding that each of us has been put here on this earth to make a difference. As Catholics we are raised to be good stewards and we want to teach our children to be good stewards too; that supporting our parish community will continue to feed our spiritual need as well as to reach out to the broader community, the poor, the sick, and the hungry.

Enrollment in ParishPay

Three ways to enroll! It's easy and takes only a few minutes.

  • ONLINE - Click here to enroll online: Enroll in ParishPay.
  • BY PHONE - Call the parish office at 714-879-1965.
  • IN PERSON - Stop by the parish office at 1319 North Acacia Avenue.

Note! If you are converting from weekly donations to monthly, multiply the weekly amount by 52 and then divide by 12 for the equivalent monthly contribution.

Donation Slips

You may download the ParishPay Gift Form (Adobe Acrobat PDF file) to print donation slips which indicate you contribute electronically. These can be dropped in the collection basket on Sunday. You may choose to have your children complete the form as well so that they are directly involved in the process of giving. (Adobe Acrobat Reader required to view/print Acrobat PDF files. FREE download.)
