Mary, O Blessed One of the Most High, your servants turn to you on their pilgrimage to your Son and in their task of proclaiming Him to the world.

By the example of your fiat they have learned to receive the Word of God and to be attentive to the promptings of the Spirit. From your share in the redemptive mission of your Son they have learned to understand and lessen human suffering.

I pray that, through your intercession, the young people of today may answer the call to religious life as a Servant of Mary and a life of service that has so inspired them throughout the centuries.

May they choose to live a life rooted in baptismal consecration, expressed in religious profession, and voluntarily undertaken to fulfill the commandment of love.

I present this petition to you in the name of Jesus Christ, your Son, Amen.

St. Patrick’s Dinner Dance

Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. - St. Juliana Parish Center

Sure and Begorrah! It’s time to get your tickets to the annual St. Patrick’s Dinner Dance, Saturday, March 13th, 6 p.m., in the Parish Center.

Tickets: $30 per person (pre-sale), $35 at the door.

Baby Shower for Birth Choice Health Clinics

March 6 and 7, 2010: To follow up on the visit by Kathleen Eaton, Director of Birth Choice clinics, who spoke at our parish in mid-January, the parish Respect Life Group and the Knights of Columbus are planning to have a Baby Shower to provide the clinics with FOUR of the most requested items by their mothers in need of support. They are: pre-natal vitamins (small quantity containers, 60-100 pills), diapers, baby wipes, and infant clothing. When you come to Mass that weekend there will be playpens, bassinets, and port-a-cribs outside the doors to church to deposit these items. This is one small way we can show our love to these courageous women who have chosen to give life to their unborn babies.

JUNIOR HIGH YOUTH MEETING

All members are urged to join us on Wednesday, March 10th, 7:30-9 p.m., Room 1 of the Parish Center, for another important meeting. We will present “Personal Responsibility: Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention.” Our speaker will share with us some of the potential tragic consequences of substance abuse. He has suffered them himself! Parents are strongly urged to attend. This is too important to miss. Don’t!

Palm Sunday - March 28th

St. Joseph’s Day Bake Sale and Food Donations

As has been our tradition in celebrating St. Joseph’s Day, we are suggesting food donations for the poor. Any type of non-perishable foods (rice, beans, pasta and canned goods would be appreciated.

Please join us in the Parish Center after morning Masses for our wonderful selections of baked goods. Proceeds aid those who are less fortunate in our parish community.

First Saturday of each month following 8 a.m. Mass at St. Juliana Church

Prayer Service and blessing with the relic of St. Peregrine. Please join us in prayer for this special service on March 6.
