Vocations Corner

Peter received his special call when he acknowledged Jesus as Messiah. We who believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior also receive a special call. Ask the Lord to direct your heart. (Matthew 16:13-20)

Loving and generous God, we need more vocations to the priesthood. Send us faith-filled servants to minister as dedicated and loving priests in the Diocese of Orange and Servite Order. Inspire us with your Holy Spirit so that we will encourage and foster a culture of vocations in which many will hear your call to serve your people. Bless our Diocese with men and women who will work together with your priests as deacons,, religious, and lay ministers to bring to life the Gospel and to realize the Church’s mission in our Diocese. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Facilities Update

Many people have inquired about the electronic sign, and this is what we know so far. We could not actually use the sign until it was approved (this occurred at the meeting with the City on January 6th). Following approval we sent the order to the manufacturer who told us it would take three months. Electrical work also had to be completed. This coming month (April) it should be installed and ready for use.
