St. Juliana’s Bereavement Ministry reaches out to our parishioners who are mourning the loss of a loved one, by showing our expression of sympathy and helping to ease the stress during the time after a loved one dies.
Our members make phone calls informing Parishioners of the death and funeral times; greet family and guests attending services; prepare salads or desserts; and help serve a luncheon for the family and friends of any deceased parish members who are having a reception in our Parish Center following the funeral Mass.
The ministry works on a “As Needed Basis” - there may be no funerals for weeks, or there may be multiple services in one week. This ministry is there to help, at a time when a grieving family most needs our parish support.
There are many opportunities to serve. Please consider being a part of this ministry.
If you would like to become a member of the Bereavement Ministry or have any questions, please see the October 7th bulletin for contact information.
